Athletistic/ Figure skating. The group of honored figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze refused to organize the traditional summer training camp at the base in Novogorsk near Moscow. This is what RIA Novosti reports with reference to a source close to the matter.
The decision not to go to Novogorsk was made in connection with the opening of a new multifunctional center named after Tutberidze in Yasenevo. Given the scale of the work and its technical equipment, it was decided to prepare for the season there.
Remember that since the end of February 2022, Russian skaters have been suspended from international competitions.
