Dynamo suggested to the former head coach Mircea Lucescu the post of general director of the club, Romanian media report.
Lucescu led the people of Kiev from 2020 to November 2023. In the first season under the leadership of the Romanian, the Kiev team became the champion of Ukraine, and also won the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup. The mentor resigned after the defeat to Shakhtar (0:1).
