With Vinicius, Savio and Endric, but without Casemiro and Neymar. The Brazilian national team has decided on its bid for the 2024 Copa America

The Seleção will begin to gather at the end of May, and the tournament itself will be held in the USA from June 20 to July 14

Brazil national team unveiled an official application for the upcoming Copa America 2024which will take place in the USA.

The list of 23 football players did not include the most famous Brazilian of our time – Neymar, who continues to recover from a serious injury received in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay. Also, some other high-status performers are not on the list – Casemiro from Manchester United, Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal, Richarlison from Tottenham.

We note the presence of two Girona players in the application – lateral Ian Couto and winger Savio (Saviño), teammates of the Ukrainians Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbik. There is also a potential absolute newcomer – Evanilson from Porto.

The 2024 America’s Cup will be held in the United States from June 20 to July 14. The Brazilian national team will gather between May 30 and June 3 and will hold two sparring matches before the tournament: with Mexico (June 8) and the USA (June 12). Seleçao, coached by Dorival Junior, will have her home base in Orlando.
