The athlete has no chance of appeal
Ukrainian badminton player Daniil Bosnyuk will miss the upcoming Olympics 2024.
The first racket of Ukraine was suspected of betting games. After some time, the player himself confirmed placing bets on the matches.
Bosniuk is prohibited from playing official matches – his disqualification period will be one and a half years. The athlete was ranked 33rd in the world ranking and would have taken part in the 2024 Olympic Games, but will now miss the games in Paris. Bosnyuk also has no chance of a successful appeal.
Thus, at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, only one representative of Ukraine will compete in badminton competitions – the best Ukrainian woman in the world ranking, Polina Bugrova.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11. At the competitions, 329 sets of awards will be played in 32 sports.
