Athletistic/ Figure skating. Russian figure skater Sofya Samodelkina will compete for another country. She joined the Kazakhstan national team. The athlete accepted citizenship last year. Honored figure skating coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova spoke about this.
– I simply cannot understand that Samodelkina was released in Kazakhstan. The girl wants to go, so let her go wherever she wants. We are not interested in this, so the decision is correct. For Russian figure skating, Samodelkina’s departure is not a loss,” Tarasov said, as quoted by Sport24.
