Yuri Ozhgibesov won the long jump competition at the Znamensky Brothers Memorial, held as part of the Moscow Athletics Week.
Ozhgibesov showed a result of 7.88 meters. The silver medalist was Artem Chermoshansky (7.80), the bronze went to Artem Primak (7.67).
Representative of Belarus Alena Dubitskaya won the shot put competition with a result of 18.13 meters. Russian Daria Shinkevich (17.12) was second and Alena Gordeeva (16.92) third.
The best in the women’s 800 meters was Maria Prokhorets (2:01.88). In the fight for gold, he was ahead of Alina Kucherenko (2:02.57), the third place was taken by Nigina Tukhtaeva (2:03.25).
Kristina Vershinina won the women’s 400 meter hurdles (56.87). Irina Baulina finished second (58.01), third – Maria Tarabanskaya (58.19).
