The Russian synchronized swimming team won gold in the technical group program at the BRICS Games in Kazan.
The Russian team consisting of Anna Andrianova, Anastasia Bakhtyreva, Ekaterina Kossova, Varvara Kreopalova, Elizaveta Minaeva, Evelina Simonova, Elizaveta Smirnova and Agnia Tulupova scored 341.7363 points. The second place was taken by the DPRK team with 273.2816 points; the first three were completed by Belarusian synchronized swimmers (260.5641).
The BRICS Games take place in the capital of Tatarstan from June 12 to 23.
