The Ukrainian signed a contract with the MLS club until the end of 2027
Defender of Dnepr-1 Alexander Svatok officially became a club player Austinplaying in MLS.
The Ukrainian signed a contract until the end of 2027 with an option to extend for another season. Other terms of the transfer were not disclosed. In the American club, Alexander will wear number 21.
Swatok will be eligible to compete for Austin on July 18th. Let us remember that the defender has been on Austin’s short list since the spring.
In the 2023/24 club season, Svatok scored one goal and provided two assists in 31 matches for Dnipro. Alexander, together with the Ukrainian national team, went to the European Championship 2024.
Austin is in eighth place in the MLS Western Conference. The Texas team will next play against Sporting Kansas City on June 30.
