Wayne Rooney holds the top spot
Midfielder German national team Jamal Musiala became the second youngest player in history to score three goals in European Championships.
The midfielder scored in the Bundesteam match with Denmark (2:0). At the time of the fight, Jamal was 21 years old, 4 months and 3 days old. Ahead of him is only Englishman Wayne Rooney, who reached the three-goal mark at Euro 2024 at the age of 18 years, 7 months and 28 days.
Musiala scored the second goal in Germany’s match against Denmark. Before him, Kai Havertz opened the scoring, converting a penalty. The UEFA delegates named defender Antonio Rudiger as the best player of the match.
Earlier, the Swiss team reached the quarterfinals, beating the reigning European champions Italians (2:0). In the quarter finals, Germany will meet the winner of the Spain-Georgia duel.
