The 26-year-old defender spent the entire last season on loan at Leeds
Tottenham announced the transition to Leeds permanent defender Joe Rodona.
The 26-year-old Welshman already defended the colours of Leeds last season on a year-long loan from Tottenham, becoming a key player in Daniel Farke’s team during that time.
Rodon is a Swansea youth product. He began his professional career with the Swans before moving to Tottenham for £12 million in 2020. Rodon played only 15 Premier League matches over two seasons with Spurs, and also spent time on loan at Rennes and the aforementioned Leeds.
Last season Rodon played 46 matches for Leeds in the Championship and also took part in the play-off matches for the right to enter the Premier League. In the play-off final at Wembley Leeds lost to Southampton (0:1), as a result of which they failed to rise in the class and remained in the Championship for the next season, which for Farke’s team will begin on August 10 with a home game against Portsmouth.
