The athlete received one of the quotas after their redistribution

Ukrainian hammer thrower Irina Klimets received a license for Olympics 2024.

The athlete received a ticket to the 2024 Games after the redistribution of quotas. Several representatives of Sweden and Great Britain, as well as an athlete from Jamaica, refused to participate in the Olympics. Ukraine will be represented in both the hammer throwing programs, men’s and women’s. Earlier, Mikhail Kokhan received a license for the Games, having fulfilled the qualification standard.

The Games will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The competition will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports.
