The Ukrainian Olympic team has left for France for a training camp ahead of the 2024 Games

On July 14, the blue-yellows will hold their first friendly match with Egypt

Olympic team of Ukraine went to France for a training camp before Olympic Games 2024.

The blue-yellows will start training on July 8. On July 14, Ruslan Rotan’s team will play a friendly match with the Egyptian Olympic team, and on July 18, they will meet Paraguay. Both sparring matches will begin at 19:30 Kyiv time.

Ukraine will take part in the Olympic football tournament for the first time in its history. Rotan’s team won a ticket to Paris last year, reaching the semi-finals of the European Youth Championship.

Earlier, the coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team said that he does not see much desire from most clubs to help his team and release their players to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games. It became known that the blue-yellows were left without Yegor Yarmolyuk, Mykhailo Mudryk, Ilya Zabarnyi and Ivan Zhelizko at the 2024 Olympic Games. Also, Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin said that he will not go to the Olympics.

The Ukrainian national team will play at the 2024 Olympics with Argentina, Morocco and Iraq. In the first round, Rotan’s team will meet the Asian team on July 24.
