German Dingert to referee Dynamo in first match with Partizan

The meeting will take place on July 23 in Lublin, Poland.

The refereeing team that will officiate the match has been announced DynamoPartisan in in the second round qualifications Champions League 2024/25.

Dingert will turn 44 on July 14. In his entire career, he has refereed 15 matches in European competitions, in which he showed 85 yellow and 10 red cards. He has awarded penalties eight times. He has not previously crossed paths with Ukrainian teams.

The return match in Belgrade will take place in eight days – on Wednesday, July 31. The meeting at the Partizan Arena will be held without spectators. The start time for both matches is 21:00 Kyiv time.

If Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team manages to get past the second round, then their potential opponents in the third will be Rangers, Slavia (Prague), Red Bull (Salzburg) and Lille. Also among the contenders for two tickets to the main draw of the main European Cup are Union Saint-Gilloise and Twente.

In case of a loss to Partizan, the capital club will end up in the third qualifying stage of the Europa League.
