Lugansk club beat Universitatya with a score of 1:0
Defender Denis Nagnoyny – the youngest Ukrainian football player who scored for Dawn in European competition.
Yesterday, in the first match of the third qualifying round of the Conference League against the Romanian Universitati (1:0), Nanoyny scored the winning goal. At that time, Denis was 20 years old, 6 months and 1 day old.
Prior to that, the youngest Ukrainian scorer of Zorya in European competition was Nazariy Rusyn, who scored at the age of 20 years, 9 months and 21 days.
Nagnoyny has been playing for Lugansk since August 2019. He played his debut match in May 2021 against Alexandria (2: 1).
Recall that Zorya minimally defeated the University of Craiova in the first match of the third qualifying round of the Conference League – 1:0.
The return match will take place on 11 August. If successful, Zorya will play with the winner of the Lugano-Hapoel Beersheba pair.
