Manchester United signed 18-year-old Lille defender Leni Yoro.
The Frenchman signed a contract until June 2029. The contract also includes an option to extend it for another season.
It was previously reported that Lille had accepted a €62 million bid from Manchester United for the player. Before that, the Dogues had rejected a €50 million bid from Liverpool. Real Madrid was also interested in the defender.
Yoro played 44 matches for Lille in all competitions last season, scoring three goals. In March, the defender made his debut for the France U-23 team.
Manchester United finished eighth in the Premier League and won the FA Cup. The Red Devils will host Fulham in the first round of the new season on August 16.
