Ukrainian goalkeeper Koval has moved to Kazakhstan’s Yelimai

The player joined as a free agent.

Ukrainian goalkeeper Maxim Koval switched to Kazakhstan Elimai.

The keeper arrived as a free agent. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

In Ukraine, Maksym played for Zaporizhzhya Metalurh and Dynamo, he also played for Odense, Deportivo and Al-Fateh. The goalkeeper has two matches for the Ukrainian national team.

Since August 2022, Maksym has played for Sheriff. Last season, the Ukrainian entered the top 5 goalkeepers of the Europa League in terms of the number of saves in the group stage.

In January, the footballer moved to Aris and was immediately loaned to Kalamata (16 games, 19 goals conceded, six clean sheets). Upon completion of the loan agreement, the Ukrainian returned to Aris, where he ended his cooperation with the club and became a free agent.

Yelimai is in fourth place in the Kazakhstan championship standings after 14 games. The team includes former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Nikita Korzun and former PFC Lviv striker Brazilian Shina.
