“At the beginning of the year, I said that our great country had no right to humiliate itself in this way. For me, this is nothing new,” Wiener said according to Sport-Express.
On June 30, Mark Adams, asked by Palestinian officials about the participation of Israeli athletes in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, responded that “there are now 20 to 30 wars in the world, and given the reaction to the complaints of all the teams, no one in that situation would participate in the Olympics.” The official said the IOC is moving away from politics.

Athletes from Russia and Belarus are only allowed to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris with individual neutral status and subject to a number of conditions.
