Yuriy Vernydub’s charges scored a quick goal, and Yegor Tverdokhlib scored in the sixth minute. The goal of the Kryvyi Rih midfielder was his debut in the current season of the Ukrainian championship. During the match, Kryvbas continued to have the advantage, but the teams did not score any more goals.
Let us recall that the new UPL competition started on Saturday with the match Veres – Karpaty, but no goals were scored in it.
The first round will continue tomorrow, August 4, with matches LNZ – Left Bank, Vorskla – Shakhtar, Obolon – Kolos and Zorya – Ingulets. Two more matches, Oleksandria – Dynamo and Rukh – Poliesie, were postponed.
Kryvbas will play its next match in the 2024/25 Europa League qualification against Viktoria Plzen on August 8. In the Ukrainian championship, the Kryvyi Rih team will play against Karpaty on August 11. Chornomorets will host Zorya on August 10.
