Olga became an Olympic champion as a member of the women’s sabre team at the 2024 Games in Paris. In total, she won six Olympic medals.
Previously, the Ukrainian became the champion in team sabre at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, and also won silver in the team competition at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. In individual sabre, Olga won the Olympic bronze medal three times: in London 2012, Rio 2016 and Paris 2024.
In terms of the number of medals at the Olympic Games, Kharlan has surpassed Yana Klochkova. The Ukrainian swimmer has already been a champion four times (2000 and 2004) and also won silver at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
