Maria finished sixth in her semi-final swim
Ukrainian Maria Povkh did not make it to the medal finals Olympic Games 2024 V single-handed canoeing at a distance 500 meters – She finished sixth in her semi-final swim.
Povkh covered the distance in 1.52.51. Now Maria will take part in the consolation final C, where places 17 through 24 will be up for grabs.
The Consolation Final C is scheduled to take place today, August 10.
The 2024 Olympic Games are Povkh’s third in her career. She also reached the semi-finals in the 500m canoe single at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, but never made it to the medal final.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
