Russian para-athlete Yaroslav Sviatoslavsky has completed the IMPULSE ultratriathlon.
In six days, he covered a route with a total length of 487.3 km. The ultratriathlon consisted of three stages: 2.6 km of swimming in the Black Sea, 344.7 km on a hand bike and 140 km on a jogging stroller. Svyatoslavsky started in the federal territory of Sirius and finished in Crimea.
“During this time, I covered a 487.3 km course, almost twice as long as IRONMAN,” the athlete wrote on the social network.
Yaroslav Svyatoslavsky is an athlete of the Russian Paralympic team, bronze medalist of the Cycling World Cup, ambassador of the Healthy Homeland public movement.
The IMPULSE ultratriathlon aimed to draw attention to the problems associated with the treatment of spinal cord injuries and diseases.
