Figure skater Alena Kostornaya playing in tandem with Georgy Kounitsa spoke about his program at the Russian national team skating tests.

The performances took place on September 14 and 15 in St. Petersburg. Kostornaya has been practicing pair skating with her husband Kunitsa since 2023.

To begin with: Gosha is not a Master, and I am far from Margarita! In this production, we reincarnated as characters of Woland and his ideas. From the very beginning, Woland had an idea that he wanted to realize. What germinated in his subconscious, played with him and his thoughts, tickled his nerves, tormented him in every possible way.

Later, this idea captivated him so much that he could no longer contain it. Towards the end of the program, a transition takes place from control to submission, power passes into other hands – the idea has completely enslaved him, he has become a hostage of his thoughts, he is no longer able to stop everything. And in the finale, it finally takes over, Woland gives up and Moscow burns,” Kostornaya wrote on the Telegram channel.
