Russian cyclists Alexander Vlassov and Egor Igoshev will perform in neutral status at the World Championships in Zurich, and the approved uniform layout corresponds to the Olympic one, senior coach Nikita Bekinev told .
Igoshev and Vlasov will start only in group races, Igoshev – in the age category up to 23 years on September 27, Vlasov – in the “elite” on September 29.
“They will take the starting line wearing the same design that was approved for the Olympics,” Bekinev told .
The Road World Championships will take place in Zurich from September 22 to 29.
As reported earlier, during UCI competitions in honor of the victories of neutral athletes from Russia and Belarus, Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” is played during the awards ceremony.
