Anthony Joshua suffered his fourth defeat in his career – in 2019 he lost to Andy Ruiz, and in 2021 and 2022 – to Oleksandr Usyk
On the night of September 21-22, the IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KO) defended his title against the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KO), knocking him out spectacularly in the fifth round.
During the fight, Anthony Joshua was knocked down three times, but got up and continued the fight.
However, Dubois’ dominance in the ring was enormous. He landed 79 punches during the fight, while Joshua landed only 32.
The end of the fight came at the end of the fifth round – Daniel Dubois delivered a precise blow to AJ’s jaw, after which he was no longer able to get back to his feet.
This is Joshua’s fourth defeat in the professional ring – in 2019 he lost to Andy Ruiz, and in 2021 and 2022 to Alexander Usyk.
