Dembele’s early goal puts Luis Enrique’s side six points clear of Monaco in the title race
Paris Saint-Germain won a minimal victory over Lance in the home match of the 10th round of the French League 1 – 1:0.
The only goal was scored in the first minutes – it was scored by Ousmane Dembele, who converted an assist from Bradley Barcol.
Luis Enrique’s team, playing with a weakened squad (for example, the home team’s goal was defended by the Russian Safonov), created enough chances to increase the score. To Lance’s credit, the guests did not sit back on the defensive and regularly went on the attack themselves.
The task of being sent off in the Red-Gold lineup at the end of an hour of play made it much easier for Paris. 20-year-old defender of the Uzbekistan national team Abdukadir Khusanov saw a red light in front of him for rough play.
The victory allowed the championship leader to take the lead – Monaco, having suffered two defeats in a row, is already six points behind. Enrique’s team will also play their next match at home – on November 6 against Atlético in the Champions League. Three days later, the Parisians will visit Angers. Lens, down to seventh place, will host Nantes on the same day (November 9).
