Manchester City, Real Madrid and Flamengo entered pot 1 of the 2025 Club World Cup draw

The procedure for distributing teams will take place on December 5

FIFA announced the composition of the baskets for the group round draw Club World Cup 2025.

The first pot included the four best rated teams from Europe and South America. The second was made up of the eight remaining European clubs. The remaining teams were divided into two more baskets.

Basket 1: Manchester City (England), Real Madrid (Spain), Bayern Munich (Germany), Paris Saint-Germain (France), Flamengo (Brazil), Palmeiras (Brazil), River Plate (Argentina), Fluminense (Brazil).

Cart 2: Chelsea (England), Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Inter (Italy), Porto (Portugal), Atlético (Spain), Benfica (Portugal), Juventus (Italy), Salzburg (Austria).

Basket 3: Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Ulsan Hyundai (South Korea), Al-Ahly (Egypt), Wydad (Morocco), Monterrey (Mexico), Leon (Mexico), Boca Juniors (Argentina), Botafogo (Brazil).

Basket 4: Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan), Al Ain (UAE), Esperance Sportive de Tunisia (Tunisia), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Pachuca (Mexico), Seattle Sounders (USA), Auckland City (New Zealand), Inter Miami ( USA).

The draw for the 2025 World Cup will take place on December 5 in Miami. Starts at 13:00 local time or 20:00 Kyiv time.

The Club World Championship in the new format will be held from June 15 to July 13, 2025. The tournament will take place in the USA, and 32 clubs (8 groups of 4 teams each) from six confederations will take part.

The final of the tournament will take place in New York at MetLife Stadium. The stadium seats 82,500 and is home to the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets.
