WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk said he intends to play in the Ukrainian football championship.
According to the boxer, he hopes that the Zhytomyr football club Polissya will give him some playing minutes next season, when the team plays in the Premier League.
“I really want to play on the football field. I already have a childhood dream come true – I played in Turkey for the professional football team Polesie. And now, when the boys work a little, with God’s help, the Major League . And I think I would give seven minutes of the second half to play in the Premier League.”
