Russian Alexandra Kosteniuk won with black against German Elisabeth Petz, Polina Shuvalova lost with black against Alina Kashlinskaya, who plays for Poland. Ekaterina Lahno tied Kazakhstan representative Bibisara Assaubayeva with black. Dinara Wagner from Germany and Indian Vaishali Rameshbabu have also parted ways.
After five rounds, Goryachkina and Zhu Jin’er are tied for first place in the standings with four points each.
