Ukraine did not reach Division A of the League of Nations

In the decisive match, the blue-yellows tied with Scotland

national team Ukraine failed to break into Division A League of Nations.

In the final round of group 1 of Division B, the blue-yellows tied with Scotland – 0: 0.

Ukrainians, in particular, Ilya Zabarny, Artem Dovbik, Taras Stepanenko and Andriy Yarmolenko could not realize their chances during the fight in Poland.

The opponent claimed a penalty in the first half, but after watching VAR, the referee of the meeting, Tasos Sidiropoulos, canceled the appointment of a 11-meter kick against the blue-yellows.

Note that today’s match was historic for winger Andriy Yarmolenko. The midfielder played his 112th match as part of the blue-and-yellows and became the national team’s record holder in the number of matches played.

Thus, the team of Alexander Petrakov took second place in group 1 with 11 points. Scotland are promoted to Division A of the Nations League with 13 points.
