Russian Kvyat took third place in the LMP2 class during the endurance race at Sebring

Former Formula 1 driver Daniel Kvyat with the Prema Racing team, he became third in the first stage of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the LMP2 category at Sebring (USA).

The Russian’s crew, which also includes Italian Mirko Bortolotti and Frenchwoman Dorian Pin, only lost to Hertz Team JOTA and United Autosports.

The next stage of the championship will be a six-hour race in Portimão, Portugal, which will take place on April 16.

Kvyat competed in Formula 1 for Red Bull and Alfa Tauri (formerly Toro Rosso) in 2014-2017 and 2019-2020. Currently, he is the most successful participant in the Russian championship, he has three podiums to his credit, the best result in the individual standings is seventh place in 2015. He participated in the NASCAR series last year .
