Lewis set 13th free practice time
Seven times champion Lewis Hamilton complained about the team’s car Mercedes after a second free practice at the Canadian Grand Prix.
Hamilton and his teammate George Russell are experiencing problems with the buildup of the car, which explains the sharp deterioration in Mercedes’ results this season.
On Friday, June 17, during practice, Lewis called the car “unmanageable” on team radio and later complained about it in an interview.
“Nothing we do with the car helps. George and I had different settings on our second practice to see which one worked,” said Hamilton.
“For me it was a disaster – it feels like the car is only getting worse.”
“We will continue to work on it. But I think we have this car until the end of the season. We will have to endure and make the best car for next season.”
In practice, Hamilton showed only the 13th best result, Russell – seventh.
Last season, Lewis lost the title to Max Verstapenne in the final race of the season. In the current – takes sixth place in the individual standings.
Today at 23:00 Kyiv time will qualify for the Canadian Grand Prix. Tomorrow’s race starts at 21:00 Kyiv time.
