Former Russian Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin who will participate in the Silk Way Rally Marathon as part of the SNAG Racing team, spoke about the preparations for the race.
In April, Haas terminated the contract with Mazepin.
— Almost everything is ready for the Silk Way Rally. Together with the team, we did a great job of preparing for ten days off-road. We are waiting for the departure to Astrakhan, – wrote Mazepin on social networks.
Silk Road 2022 will be held from July 6 to 16 with a start in Astrakhan and a finish in Moscow. The total length will be 4380 kilometers, of which 2800 kilometers will be special stages.
