Participants in the 2024 International Silk Road Rally will have to complete 11 stages across Russia and Mongolia, correspondent reports.
On Thursday, a presentation of the Silk Way Rally route will take place in Moscow. The race starts in Tomsk on July 5, passes through Barnaul, Gorno-Altaisk, Kosh-Agach, Khovd, Altai, Bayanhongor, Mandalgobi and ends on July 15 in Ulaanbaatar.
The total length of the Silk Way Rally will be 5,257 km, the length of the special stages will be 2,993 km.
Silk Way Rally 2024 route:
1st stage (prologue) (will take place on July 5) along the route Tomsk – Tomsk (the length of the special stage is 25 km);
Stage 2 (July 6): Tomsk – Barnaul (180 km);
3rd stage (July 7): Barnaul – Gorno-Altaisk (133 km);
4th stage (July 8): Gorno-Altaisk – Kosh-Agach (165 km);
Stage 5 (July 9): Kosh-Agach – Khovd (296 km);
Stage 6 (July 10): Khovd – Khovd (440 km);
7th stage (July 11): Khovd – Altai (385 km);
8th stage (July 12): Altai – Altai (314 km);
9th stage (July 13): Altai – Bayankhogor (423 km);
10th stage (July 14): Bayankhogor – Mandalgobi (307 km);
Stage 11 (July 15): Mandalgobi – Ulaanbaatar (324 km).
