“The strategy worked. We wanted to get a safe car at the end of the race and, if we hit that, we would win, for sure. But it was a bit of a gamble. I lost a lot of time to some stragglers who left the pit ahead of me. Happy with second place. Bortoleto has a very good rhythm and this is the most we can do,” stated in an interview with ESPN.

“I’m happy with that, with the result. It’s a turnaround after the mistake I made yesterday. They were very angry and rightly so. Today I tried to do my best so they could leave Austria happy. I didn’t want to go to Silverstone with a c… face, ha.

Afterwards, he emphasized that “it’s another podium in a row”, the third so far this year. “There are now three podiums in the season: one victory and two second places. I’m showing the speed we have and I’m happy. Good things will come, they will listen. I hope that everything continues on this path at Silverstone next week,” he said.
