Monastery Olympics bronze medalist and five-time winner of the Dakar Rally marathon Nasser Al-Attiyah Qatari President Vladimir Putin has posted a video with the Russian anthem on social media.
The video consists of footage of Al-Attiyah’s performance at competitions in Russia – the Silk Road Rally Marathon and the Northern Forest Baja – and is accompanied by the Russian anthem performed by SHAMAN.
The 53-year-old racing driver also mentioned the Russian KAMAZ-master team in the publication.
Earlier, Al-Attiyah had posted a video from Lake Baikal with the caption: “Russia is a beautiful country in the world.”
Russian participants have been suspended from international competitions in many sports due to the political situation. At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, which are taking place these days, 15 Russians have been declared neutral.
