Former Russian world number one Daniil Medvedev has qualified for the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) final tournament, according to the organization’s website.
Medvedev became the sixth player to qualify for the tournament. Earlier, Spaniards Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaras, Norwegian Kasper Ruud, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Serbian Novak Djokovic qualified for the competition.
The Russian won the final tournament in 2020. Last season, 26-year-old Medvedev lost to German Alexander Zverev in the final.
The final ATP tournament will be held November 13-20 in Turin, Italy.
