Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl advanced to the semi-finals WTA 125 tournament in Montevideo, Uruguay.

In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian won a strong-willed victory over Clara Burel from France. In the first set, Katerina lost her own serve twice and lost.

In the next two games, the Ukrainian defeated her opponent. Beindl made five breaks and allowed Burel to win only a game in each remaining set.

In the semi-finals, Katerina will play with Diana Schneider. The 158th racket of the world beat American Hailey Baptist in straight sets.

Recall that in the first round Beindl beat American Emma Navarro in three sets. In the second round, the Ukrainian confidently passed Brenda Frugvirtova from the Czech Republic, winning the second set dry.
