Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova on social media, she announced that she would not perform at the Dubai tournament due to illness.
The tournament takes place from February 19 to 25. In the first round, Potapova on February 20 was to play with Jill Teichman from Switzerland.
– Unfortunately, I will not be able to perform in Dubai, because I am very sick. With the team for four days they tried to improve my condition, but I only got worse. Now my strength will be directed to recovery, I have to prepare for the American Tournament Series,” Potapova wrote.
Potapova is ranked 29th in the WTA rankings.
