Famous Russian tennis player Andrei Chesnokov believes that Russian Daniil Medvedev will again beat the American Francis Tiafoe in the semi-finals of the Masters series tournament in Indian Wells (USA).
The opponents have met five times, Medvedev has won the last four head-to-head encounters.
– Tiafoe plays so cunningly, so unexpectedly. He has such shots – bombs. If you look at their last game, then at the US Open, Tiafoe played in a comfort zone until he met Medvedev. There, the comfort immediately ended, disappeared. I think the Russian octopus will drag him into his nets again,” Chesnokov told Gazeta.Ru.
The semi-final match in Indian Wells will take place on Saturday, March 18 and will start at 9:00 p.m. Moscow time. Medvedev remained undefeated in 18 matches.
