— A strong match on grass? Honestly, I do not know. It’s not my favorite surface, but somehow I can play it so well. And maybe victory looks easy on the score, but it never happens because the opponent played amazing.
I just hope that I can maintain this form as long as possible,” the WTA press service quoted Alexandrova as saying.
Previously, Alexandrova won the Hertogenbosch tournament in the Netherlands, where she beat compatriot Veronika Kudermetova. In the quarter-finals of the Berlin tournament, the Russians will meet again.
