Russian tennis player Daniel Medvedev summed up the match with the Argentine Sebastien Baez in the third round of the US Open.
The match lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes and ended with the score 6:2, 6:2, 7:6 (8:6) in favor of Medvedev.
“I think we both played well, even in the first two sets. I was just a little better in the important moments and I controlled the flow of the meeting. In the third set, Baez only raised his level slightly to make the match even more difficult. A little luck and a good game allowed me not to give up the third set. It’s good that I managed not to drag out the match until four in the morning, ”quotes Medvedev in the ATP press service.
Medvedev’s next opponent at the US Open will be Australian Alex De Minor, seeded 13th in the tournament.
