Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev rose from seventh to fifth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Rublev reached the final of the Masters Series tournament in Shanghai last week, where he lost to Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz. For the 25-year-old Russian, fifth place in the rankings is the highest position of his career.
The best Russian tennis player remains Daniel Medvedev , occupying third place. The Serb is in front of him Novak Djokovic and the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz .
