Dayana lost to the Czech in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya was defeated in the first round of the tournament WTA 250 V Cluj-Napoca.
At the start of the main draw of the competition, Yastremskaya lost to the 17-year-old wild card holder Nikola Bartunkova from the Czech Republic, which ranks 289th in the WTA rankings.
The tennis players spent almost two hours on the court. In the first set, Dayana lost 5:7. In the second game, the Ukrainian led 3:1, but gave her opponent two games on her serve – 4:6.
In total, Yastremskaya converted 3 out of 12 break points during the match, Bartunkova – 5 out of 10. Dayana also made 6 double faults.
At the tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Yastremskaya will also play in doubles. The Ukrainian will perform in tandem with American Quinn Gleason.
