Russian Alexander Shevchenko was beaten by a representative of Kazakhstan Alexandra Bublika during the last match of the Trophées du Nord de Palmyra tennis tournament in Saint Petersburg.
Shevchenko, who played for the Lions team at the tournament, lost to Bublik of the Sphinx team on Sunday with a score of 5:7, 4:6. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 33 minutes.
The final score is 6:5 in favor of the Lions.
The Northern Palmyra Trophies tournament was held in St. Petersburg from December 1 to 3 on the courts of the St. Petersburg Arena sports and concert complex. Athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Spain, Serbia, France and Bulgaria took part in the team tournament.
