Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev announced the opening of a children’s charitable foundation in his name.
“We are committed to providing essential resources and support to children around the world who are struggling with health challenges. We have already raised over $150,000 in the past few months, which has laid the foundation for our mission to thrive. It is very important for me. I would like to use my platform and my tennis career as a way to do more than just play; give more than you receive,” Rublev wrote on a social network.
Rublev is 26 years old, he is the fifth racket in the world. The Russian has 19 victories in ATP tournaments, as well as gold at the 2020 Olympics in mixed doubles with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
