Svitolina retained 17th position
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) published an updated ranking of tennis players.
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina retained her 17th place in the world rankings. Dayana Yastremskaya, Angelina Kalinina, Lesya Tsurenko and Yulia Starodubtseva improved their positions.
Marta Kostyuk and Daria Snigur lost one position each. The biggest drop among Ukrainian women in the ranking is that of Katarina Zavatskaya, who dropped by 16 positions.
There were also a number of changes in the top 10 over the week. Maria Sakkari moved up to seventh place, moving Zheng Qingwen and Marketa Vondrousová down. The first racket of the world remains the representative of Poland Iga Szwiatek.
