Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva lost in the semi-finals of the doubles tournament WTA 250 in the capital of Colombia Bogota.
Julia performed together with Irina Bara from Romania. In the semi-finals, the duo lost to third seeds Anna Bondar from Hungary and neutral Irina Khromacheva.
The Ukrainian and Romanian won the first game, but were unable to oppose their opponents in the second. In the super tiebreak, Bondar and Khromacheva played better in the end.
During the tournament, Starodubtseva and Bara defeated another Ukrainian Katarina Zavatskaya and Yu Xiaodi from China in the second round. In singles in Bogota, Julia lost in the first round to Sara Errani from Italy.
