Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina confidently qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament WTA 250 in French Rouen.
Kalinina defeated Martina Trevisan in two sets. In the first game, the Ukrainian lost two of her serves, but won all four of her opponent’s games. In the second set, Angelina lost with a break of 2:3, after which she took four games in a row and won the match.
The Ukrainian is seeded third in Rouen. In the quarterfinals, Kalinina will play “neutral athlete” Mirra Andreeva.
In the first round, Angelina beat Alize Cornet from France. Another Ukrainian, Katarina Zavatskaya, made it through the qualifications at the tournament in Rouen, but lost in the first match of the main draw.
