Andrei Rublev returned to sixth place in the world rankings. The day before, May 5, he won the Masters on clay in Madrid (Spain), which allowed him to gain two places.
Serbian Novak Djokovic remains leader of the ATP rankings. The Italian Jannik Sinner is just over 1,000 points behind him. Third place goes to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
Daniil Medvedev, fourth in the world rankings, continues to be considered the strongest tennis player in Russia. Karen Khachanov falls to 18th place. Aslan Karatsev has lost 38 positions and is now only 86th in the ATP rankings.
