Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal after losing early at the French Open, he compared his body to the jungle.
On Monday, the Spaniard lost to world number four, German Alexander. Zverev in the first round of Roland-Garros – 3:6, 6:7 (5:7), 3:6.
“I can’t say if I will be ready to play in a month and a half, because for two years my body has been like a jungle. You never know what to expect. One day I wake up and a snake has bitten me. Another day, I wake up: I have been bitten by a tiger. It’s a real battle with what I had to go through,” Nadal said, as quoted by the tournament’s official website.
Nadal is 37 years old and a 14-time winner of Roland Garros.
The Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.
